Hypnosis and Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Irritable Bowel Syndrome or IBS is a functional disorder that is thought to affect approximately 10% of the population. Common symptoms include constipation, diarrhoea, abdominal pain and bloating. The cause of IBS is unknown and there is yet no cure, however research has shown that hypnosis can be effective in reducing the symptoms of IBS.
