Weight loss is an issue I have worked with intensely for about seven years. I have seen many people with different goals but almost always the reason for weight gain is the same. One of the most common causes of being overweight is the individual’s attitude to food. It’s not just a matter of choice but also a matter of conditioning, which is laid down in childhood and throughout our lives.
A positive attitude to food and eating is paramount to losing weight and that’s where hypnotherapy comes in. Using hypnosis the subconscious mind can be encouraged to form new perspectives on what, how, when and where we eat. Old behaviour patterns can be updated so food is not used for comfort, which makes the task of losing weight much easier. Once the subconscious mind understands the role of food in your life, it can help you to take control of your eating habits and your weight.
